PRODUCTION CONTROL SPECIALIST

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the America's team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Production Control Specialist. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Production Control Specialist. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring material availability, tracking work orders, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals and customer delivery commitments are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, inventory control, or supply chain and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and monitor daily and weekly production schedules.
• Track production orders from release through completion.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or constraints.
• Coordinate production priorities based on customer demand and material availability.
• Monitor parts and material availability to prevent production interruptions.
• Identify shortages and coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory information within ERP/MRP systems.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues.
• Track key production metrics, including schedule attainment, output, shortages, and on-time completion.
• Prepare production reports and provide status updates to management.
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle-count activities.\Identify opportunities to improve production flow, scheduling, and operational efficiency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in production control, production planning, manufacturing, materials management, inventory control, or supply chain.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
• Heavy equipment, automotive, construction equipment, or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role is performed in a warehouse and/or equipment inspection environment. Work involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and working around heavy equipment and machinery. Employees may be required to lift, push, or pull materials and components weighing up to 40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures may occur.
