Radiologic Technologist (Mammography)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 5x8-Hour shift (08:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic mammographic imaging procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, along with special procedures such as stereotactic biopsies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform digital mammography and 3-D mammography imaging.
• Conduct diagnostic exams and procedures including fine needle aspirations and needle localizations.
• Ensure proper equipment use and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Teach patients how to perform breast self-exams.
• Maintain patient documentation and adhere to quality assurance procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 1 year of experience in a radiology/imaging role.
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M and ARRT R).
• BLS certification.
• Valid California state license required.
• Preferred experience with PACS and the Epic charting system.
