2nd Shift CNC Machinist

CNC Machine OperatorPequot Mfg. is looking for CNC Machine Operators to join their 2nd shift staff! Hours are Monday-Thursday from 2:00PM-12:30AM—a 4 day work week! This person will operate CNC Machines at the mid skill level. This person will be following work instructions & under supervision, produces parts according to print and specifications, meeting Pequot Mfg. work standards.Basic TasksFollow priorities and assignments as directed.Position, align, and secure work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies.Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.Load work pieces, plastic material, metal parts, or chemical solutions into machines.Performs deburring operations to skillfully remove excess material or burrs from surfaces; sharpen edges or corners, or buff, hone or polish metal or plastic work pieces. Operates tumbler, hand grinding or mechanical/robotic tumbling or straight-lining equipment.
