Crew MemberThe Crew Member at Spotless Brands plays a vital role in delivering a joyful, safe, and high-quality car wash experience to every customer. This hands-on, versatile role requires flexibility and a team-first mindset. Crew Members are responsible for operating wash equipment, prepping vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and at times supporting customer-facing sales and service needs. Whether vacuuming interiors, guiding vehicles into tunnels or rotating to assist at the kiosk, Crew Members wear many hats and serve as an essential part of daily site operations.Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned):Safely and effectively operate car wash equipment including front wash, back wash, and vacuumGreet and engage customers with enthusiasm; support membership sales and product upsell in the absence of a Customer Service Advisor (CSA), ensuring consistent customer experienceGuide vehicles safely into and out of the tunnel, ensuing proper alignment and wash readinessPerform vehicle inspections prior to entry to identify visible damage and prevent claimsPrep vehicles by removing trash, vacuuming interiors, and wiping surfaces to enhance tunnel performanceDry, polish, and detail vehicles interior and exterior when applicable, including express and full-service optionsExplain and promote wash packages, memberships, and current promotions as neededRotate between responsibilities (vacuum, tunnel, drying, kiosk, ) based on business needs and manager directionAssist in opening and closing duties, including basic maintenance checks and site organizationPerform general site cleaning and upkeep sweeping lots, emptying trash, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and customer areasPerforms routine cleaning and maintenance tasks including but not limited to pit cleaning, vacuum bag/ station cleaning, tunnel upkeep, dumpster cleaning, and removal of debris, to ensure a safe, clean, and operational car wash environmentPerforms duties as assigned, including operational and cleaning tasks that support site, shop, or store upkeepFollow all safety standards, operational procedures, and company policiesPerform other duties as assigned to support the team and site performanceEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not requiredMust be at least 16 years of age (or older where required by law or safety regulations)Valid driver's license preferred (may be required depending on location and responsibilities)Previous experience in customer-facing or outdoor role preferred, not requiredMust be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:KnowledgeWorking knowledge of car wash operations and equipment functionalityFamiliarity with membership programs and wash packagesUnderstanding of basic vehicle surfaces and proper cleaning techniquesSkillsStrong customer service skills with the ability to create joyful, memorable guest experiencesEffective verbal communication, especially when directing vehicles or addressing guest questionsBasic sales skills to support membership promotion and upselling when neededOrganizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume, outdoor work environmentAbilitiesAbility to adapt quickly and shift between tasks based on operational needsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to stay alert and safety-focused while working around moving vehicles and machineryAbility to follow directions, retain training, and work efficiently with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain a cheerful outlook and professional demeanor during high-traffic periodsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk, stand, and move, often uneven, moving and/ or wet surfaces through site for several hours at a timeAbility to stoop, crouch, bend frequently, and constantly using fingers, hands, and arms including occasional ascending and descending a ladderAbility to twist, carry, reach, push, and pull frequentlyAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance for work-related materialsAbility to work outdoors and be efficient in all weather conditionsAbility to work on your feet in a fast-paced, physically active environmentMust be able to work in an environment with varying noise levels, including loud sounds from machinery, tools, or high-traffic areasUse of personal protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc.. ) as requiredFlexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs or emergencies ariseThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) in this position.
