Front-of-House Team Member (Barista/Cashier/Expediter)

Twosome Place is a leading premium dessert café brand from South Korea, known for its high quality coffee, artisan cakes, and sophisticated café experience. Since opening its first store in Seoul in 2002, the brand has grown to over 1,700 locations and has built a strong reputation for combining specialty coffee with patisserie-style desserts. As we launch and expand our operations in the United States, we are looking for experienced Front-of-House Team Members. This role will be a key partner in establishing a strong foundation for our US teams.

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced FOH Team Members that are cross-trained to work as cashiers, baristas, and expediters. Every team member plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of beverage quality, food presentation, cleanliness, and team work.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service 

• Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism. 
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages, desserts, and menu items. 
• Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive service. 
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism. 

Cashier 

• Operate the POS accurately and efficiently. 
• Process, cash, credit card, and digital payments. 
• Maintain an organized front counter. 
• Balance the cash drawer and follow cash handling procedures. 

Barista

• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, beverages and seasonal specialties according to company standards. 
• Steam milk and craft beverages with consistency and attention to detail. 
• Maintain beverage quality during high-volume service. 
• Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies throughout the shift. 

Expediter 

• Coordinate beverage and dessert orders for accuracy and timing. 
• Verify presentation and quality before serving.
• Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure a smooth workflow. 
• Maintain organized service stations and support efficient operations. 

Team Responsibilities

• Keep the café clean, organized, and welcoming. 
• Restock products, cups, ingredients, and supplies. 
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards. 
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties. 
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience in specialty coffee, cafés, restaurants, or hospitality. 
• Experience operating espresso machines. 
• Cash handling and POS experience. 
• Strong communication and multitasking skills. 
• Passionate about hospitality and serving others
• Friendly and approachable with guests and fellow team members

Nice To Have 

• Experience in F&B, café, restaurant, or franchise-based retail operations. 
• Barista certifications and specialty coffee experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for K-brands, K-culture, and franchise operations.
