Deli Assistant Manager

Lunds & Byerlys Eden Prairie is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Deli Assistant Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50-$29.13/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pmFor this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 7:00am-9:00pm.

DELI ASSISTANT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Deli Assistant Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Assisting with supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training employees
• Merchandising product
• Assisting with analyzing financials and ensuring the department is meeting financial goals
• Maintaining cleanliness of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education:
   1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience:
   1. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in deli or food service leadership
   2. Previous Food Service Leadership experience required
3. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Knowledge of financial reporting systems and concepts
   2. Strong understanding of food preparation and food service operations
   3. Strong understanding of retail operations
   4. Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
   5. Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
