• Manage Psychiatry Service in developing goals, planning resources and programs coordinated with VA Healthcare System to include reviewing dashboard for Psychiatry Service and Joint Commission compliance measures
• Provide service employees assignment, planning and setting of priorities, advising, counseling, instruction on work and correspondence/administrative matters
• Conduct huddle with Mental Health staff, and provide morning report to leadership staff
• Attend to and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and recommend disciplinary adverse actions when indicated
• Provide professional practice, supervision, mentoring and professional development of Psychiatrists
• Review incoming correspondence. Respond to emails, sign memos, key requests, review daily calendar for meetings, and meet with staff as needed.
• Attend meetings as a member of the Multidisciplinary Mental Health Leadership Team.
• Complete clinical duties as required

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
