Quality Inspectors are essential to confirming that parts destined for life-saving and life-enhancing medical devices meet exact print specifications before they leave the Fort Wayne facility. --- The Work You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Read and interpret blueprints and inspection instructions Complete inspection operations and required documentation with detail, accuracy, and precision Maintain accurate counts of parts and associated paperwork Manage your daily workload under minimal supervision to meet personal and department goals Maintain an organized workspace and perform line clearance activities consistently Notify your supervisor immediately of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions Follow company safety policies, including PPE, incident/injury reporting, and hazard communication Communicate with co-workers respectfully and professionally May help train new employees as needed --- What We’re Looking For Required 2+ years of inspection experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints, and apply GD&T to measurement methods Basic knowledge of hand gages, tool scopes, and height stands Experience measuring physical dimensions on parts Ability to read and understand work instructions Good verbal communication and organizational skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience with Vision-based CMM systems --- Why Team Members Like Working Here Employees choose Viant Medical because of: Climate-controlled, clean, and comfortable shop environment Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective on date of hire Up to an additional $800 annually in attendance bonus Tuition reimbursement and on-site training programs A defined career path for advancement in role and compensation Work that directly supports life-saving medical technologies --- Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Benefits (Day 1 Eligibility): Medical, dental, and vision benefits 136 hours PTO (prorated based on hire date) and 10 paid holidays Paid lunch time Company-paid life insurance 401(k) plan with company match Up to an additional $800 annually in attendance bonus Schedule:
