Previous experience as server in a fast paced bar and grill or casual dining. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing and delivery. Process payments and provide correct change or receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Skills: The required communication skills enable you to interact effectively with guests, ensuring their needs are understood and met promptly. Basic math and POS system familiarity are essential for accurately processing orders and payments.
