Senior Medical Science Liaison - Endocrinology, Southwest

Senior Medical Science Liaison role at a biopharmaceutical company focused on neurological, psychiatric, endocrine, and immunological disorders. The position involves building relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision makers, delivering scientific presentations, supporting clinical research, and serving as a medical resource across multiple therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
- Establish peer-to-peer, science-based relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision makers
- Deliver fair, balanced, credible medical and scientific presentations; support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research
- Participate in conferences and scientific congresses; train faculty for speaker's bureau
- Serve as scientific resource for internal personnel and external stakeholders; compile and interpret clinical data to guide educational efforts
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and execute territory management and scientific leader communication plans
Requirements
- PharmD or PhD in health science field with 4+ years field-based work experience; 2+ years CNS therapeutic area experience preferred
- OR MD/DO degree with 2+ years related experience
- Demonstrated expertise in discipline with broad knowledge of related areas
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience leading teams
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to develop business relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision makers
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, regulatory trends, and drug development lifecycle
Compensation: $185,200–$253,000 base salary, plus 30% target annual bonus and equity-based long-term incentive program eligibility
