As a Security Officer Driver Enhanced Part Time in Seattle WA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

Day Time

12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms stations facilities parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points restricted areas and public-facing spaces offering directions and assistance to visitors riders and personnel while supporting site rules and expectations.
• Work collaboratively with local staff transit personnel and/or first responders during service disruptions medical events evacuations and other security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
