General Production Worker

In this role, you will operate the drill press and pem setter, following detailed work instructions to complete various tasks. Your responsibilities will include selecting materials and inserting nuts, bolts, and screws into sheet metal. Additionally, there is an opportunity to cross-train in different areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drill press and pem setter.
• Follow work instructions to complete tasks.
• Select and prepare materials for assembly.
• Insert nuts, bolts, and screws into sheet metal.
• Cross-train in different fabrication areas as required.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• 6+ months of experience following work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blueprint reading.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Machine operating and press brake experience.
• General labor and assembly skills.
• Strong fabricating skills.

Work Environment

This woman-owned family business operates in a 55,000 square foot sheet metal fabrication facility, producing parts for medical equipment, retail store fixtures, and heavy machinery manufacturers. The culture is team-oriented, and employees are encouraged to contribute across various areas. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required. Work the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
