Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Full Desk Recruiter | Executive, Professional, & Interim Recruiting Location: Greater Salt Lake City, UT (On-Site) (Open to Relocation) Industry: Mining / Energy / Manufacturing Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base salary +20% bonus Role Overview The Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, will report directly to the Director of Finance and play a key role in technical accounting and financial reporting. This individual will oversee a small team, drive reporting accuracy, and provide leadership in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes in compliance with GAAP. Provide technical accounting expertise, ensuring accurate treatment of complex transactions. Oversee and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support business strategy. Manage audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Work within SAP ECC8 and related accounting systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting. Experience managing or supervising accounting teams. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. Experience in mining, energy, or manufacturing industries preferred.
