Registered Nurse - Step-down Unit (Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Step-down Unit. The RN will provide care to an adult and geriatric patient population, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the step-down unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the physician.
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans under the guidelines of nursing protocols.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Active and valid RN license.
