PET/CT Technologist (Float)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist to join a growing outpatient imaging team. This float position is based in East Brunswick, NJ and provides coverage at Edison and Nutley locations as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working with advanced imaging technology while providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and advanced imaging equipment
• Prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals according to established protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process
• Operate PET/CT equipment and maintain image quality standards
• Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Maintain equipment and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and imaging staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results

Requirements

• NJDEP State License
• CPR Certification
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB/CT (Fusion Modality)
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB (N) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine experience
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an outpatient imaging setting
• PET/CT experience across multiple locations
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
