Salary: $6,000-$9,000/mo.

Job Type: Full-time, Cycle Position (through November 2026)

We're using digital tools to engage voters, tell authentic stories, and drive meaningful action.

Position Summary

The Social Media Manager will manage the campaign's presence across all social platforms and help shape the campaign's public voice online. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who lives and breathes digital culture, turns ideas into engaging posts, and wants to grow on a fast-paced, mission-driven campaign. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, comfortable with video and visual content, and eager to collaborate with the wider team to drive impact online and on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and publish daily content for Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and Threads.
• Assist in producing short-form videos, graphics, and other visual content for social platforms.
• Track trends, news, and moments to seize rapid-response opportunities.
• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and online communities.
• Maintain a content calendar and organize creative assets.
• Assist with tracking performance and iterating content based on analytics.
• Collaborate with the Digital Director and cross-functional teams (communications, organizing, data) to amplify campaign messaging.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital communications, or content creation (internships, volunteer, or freelance acceptable).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with excellent attention to detail and tone.
• Familiarity with major social platforms and understanding of what makes content engaging.
• Some experience creating or editing short-form video (e.g., Reels, TikTok).
• Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Cloud—or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Commitment to Democratic and progressive values.

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with analytics or scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Buffer, Hootsuite).
• Fluency in Spanish or additional languages.
• Prior experience on a campaign, in advocacy, or community organizing.
