Our organization, a physician-owned and operated group specializing in Emergency Medicine, is seeking board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians. We deliver emergency care to the greater Columbus region through the Mount Carmel Hospital System and are excited to announce the opening of two new facilities in New Albany and Dublin. Every member of our team, including our president, is actively involved in clinical practice.

Schedule

We prioritize long-term career satisfaction and work-life balance. Our providers typically work fewer shifts than the average group, averaging around 13 eight-hour shifts monthly, which constitutes full-time employment. Our standard schedule is a structured 7-week rotation that repeats throughout the year, with a holiday schedule designed to ensure equitable time off during festive periods. This allows you to anticipate your entire yearly schedule as early as January.

The 7-week rotation is structured as follows:

• 4 consecutive days on (Monday to Thursday), followed by 3 days off (Friday to Sunday)
• 4 consecutive days on (Monday to Thursday), followed by 3 days off (Friday to Sunday)
• 4 consecutive days on (Monday to Thursday), followed by 1 week off
• 3 consecutive days on (Friday to Sunday), followed by 4 days off (Monday to Thursday)
• 3 consecutive days on (Friday to Sunday), followed by 4 days off (Monday to Thursday)
• 3 consecutive days on, followed by 1 week off

We also offer the option of a 7-on, 7-off schedule:

• 7 consecutive days on (Monday to Sunday), followed by 1 week off (Monday to Sunday)
• 7 consecutive days on (Monday to Sunday), followed by 1 week off (Monday to Sunday)
• 7 consecutive days on (Monday to Sunday), followed by 2 weeks off

A dedicated team of nocturnists primarily utilizes the 7-on, 7-off schedule, and all night shift providers receive additional compensation through a night differential.
