Social Media Coordinator

(IG: @insomnia / Role Overview We are looking for a social media coordinator with a strong background and understanding of social trends, photo+video editing, and a deep passion for fashion to join our marketing team. This is an on-site, hybrid-based role based in Los Angeles. As social media + influencer coordinator, you’ll lead the growth of our social channels (Instagram + TikTok + other fringe platforms), be on‑set to capture BTS footage, and help coordinate PR. Key Responsibilities Own our main social media channels (Instagram + TikTok) by posting content and interacting with customers Build & maintain a consistent content calendar Ability to edit raw content from our content production teams to develop into posts Communicate with our paid ads team to edit raw content for paid ads use Research and generate relevant creative content ideas Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new trends in content across IG feed/reels + TikTok Leverage existing influencer relationships and build new connections with fashion/Gen‑Z influencers with large followings Manage our current portfolio of influencer relationships and keep influencer database updated Input and track influencer packages until delivery Track and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, optimizing strategies as needed Note This role is a remote, contract-based role with expected work hours of around 25‑30 hours per week The goal is to move to full‑time after a 90‑day period This role reports directly to the Brand Director The Environment Highly collaborative in‑office creative environment Constant product reviews, fittings, and creative discussions Fast feedback loops and quick execution Team is deeply involved in fashion, music, internet culture, and contemporary streetwear We are building for people who genuinely care about clothing and self‑expression Requirements 1‑2 years of prior work experience in social media or marketing You are on top of internet trends, with proven experience generating or directing social content that goes viral Extremely proficient in photo editing and video editing (especially TikTok/Reels) Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Who You Are Hold bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year university Living in LA, within transportation distance to our office in DTLA You live and breathe fashion, both inside and out of work.
