Body Shop Receptionist
Miles Chevrolet is seeking a friendly and organized Body Shop Receptionist to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our body shop, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth communication between customers and our repair team. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help maintain our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the body shop.
- Schedule appointments and manage the body shop calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, estimates, and repair status.
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to relay customer information and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repair orders.
- Process paperwork and assist with billing and payment procedures as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Experience with scheduling software and basic computer proficiency.
- Customer service experience, preferably in an automotive or service environment.
- Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
