Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple locations in the Rockville, Maryland area. The role involves working with diverse patient populations and offers opportunities for skill development and career growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other laboratory testing
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Deliver customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- At least 21 years of age
- COVID-19 vaccination (or qualifying exemption)
