Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate orthopedic nurse to join our team at our orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with orthopedic clinic operations, and support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Assist providers during orthopedic procedures and examinations.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in Iowa
• Previous experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
