Forklift Operator - Swing Shift

Pay: $23.50/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is primarily forklift-based, with operators spending most of their shift moving raw materials and finished products throughout the facility to keep production running efficiently.
The Forklift Operator will transport large foam bags to production equipment, move finished foam blocks between departments, support inventory organization, and assist with general warehouse and production activities as needed.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate an electric sit-down forklift throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished products.
• Transport large foam blocks and materials between inventory and production areas.
• Perform and document daily forklift safety inspections.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring materials are delivered and stored properly.
• Inspect products for visible quality defects and report issues to supervision.
• Record production, maintenance, downtime, and quality-related information as required.
• Assist with housekeeping, waste disposal, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Support recycling operations and other departments when needed.
• Cross-train and assist in production or machine operation tasks as business needs require.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to accurately complete inspection logs and production records.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Construction, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Experience loading production equipment and moving materials in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as required.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with constant movement of materials and finished products.
• Operators will occasionally exit the forklift to complete inspections, assist production teams, and perform housekeeping duties.
• Safety, attendance, and reliability are critical to success in this role.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dixon, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
