Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience License: New York RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to provide patient-centered care - Critical thinking skills - Strong communication skills Description: Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. Provide specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiographies, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures. This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay. The registered nurse is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is required to deliver high-quality care. Scrubs will be issued and laundered by the hospital, along with other infection prevention measures when needed.
