We Provide Mental Health Residential Programs Community Living & Supportive Housing Behavioral Health Services Case Management & Employment Services Foster Care & Family Support Assistant Director – Mental Health Residential Programs (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT) Chicago, IL $75,000/year Full-Time High-Impact Leadership Role in Behavioral Health Envision Unlimited is seeking a licensed (or license-eligible) behavioral health leader to join our team as an Assistant Director of Residential Services. This role is ideal for experienced clinicians ready to advance into mental health leadership, program management, and supervision. Role Overview The Assistant Director provides clinical leadership, program oversight, and staff supervision for residential mental health programs, ensuring recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and compliant care delivery . Key Responsibilities (SEO-Optimized) Leadership & Program Management Oversee mental health residential programs and daily operations Supervise behavioral health staff, clinicians, interns, and House Managers Ensure compliance with DHS, CARF, Medicaid, and Illinois regulations Manage staff scheduling, payroll approvals, and workforce coverage Lead hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management Monitor KPIs, productivity metrics, and program outcomes Clinical Oversight Conduct and oversee mental health assessments, intakes, and treatment planning Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards (EHR/Quantum) Serve as LPHA (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts) Support case management, discharge planning, and continuity of care Collaboration & Growth Partner with leadership on program development and quality improvement Maintain program census and coordinate with intake teams Participate in clinical supervision, interdisciplinary teams, and committees Positions Supervised Residential Services Staff Why Join Us?
