Craft High‑Performance Aluminum Vessels with Munson Boats

Step into our state‑of‑the‑art production facility—complete with radiant floor heat—and join a tight, 3–4 person build crew turning raw aluminum into mission‑ready boats used around the world. Under the guidance of a lead supervisor, you’ll help construct highly customized welded aluminum vessels that serve fire/rescue teams, research programs, high‑speed patrol units, and USCG‑certified passenger operations.

It’s Monday morning on a four‑day workweek. You meet with your crew, review drawings, and get to work. You’re laying clean, strong beads; fitting hulls and decks to tight tolerances; assembling fuel tanks; and verifying every component against technical drawings. By late afternoon, the workspace is reset—clean, organized, and ready for tomorrow.

• Execute precise aluminum welding that meets demanding structural and aesthetic standards
• Fabricate and assemble hulls, decks, fuel tanks, and associated components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Achieve accurate fit‑ups and apply correct welding techniques for each joint
• Keep a tidy, organized work area to support efficiency and safety
• Collaborate within a 3–4 person crew under a lead supervisor to deliver each build

Full‑time with a four‑day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10‑hour shifts) so you enjoy a three‑day weekend every week.

• Four‑tens schedule: Monday–Thursday; every Friday off
