Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice providing care for cats and dogs and is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice care, with responsibilities including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Doctor hours are open to discussion, providing flexibility around scheduling. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is well equipped and has been beautifully remodeled to provide a state-of-the-art environment, with top-of-the-line equipment, beautiful surgery suites, a luxury breakroom and a fear-free interior. The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside urgent care services. Hospital opening hours are Monday-Friday from 8AM-12PM and 2PM-6PM, Saturday from 8AM-12PM, and the practice is closed on Sundays.

Team
The veterinary team consists of 3 full-time DVMs and 1 consistent relief veterinarian, supported by a great team of support staff. The practice maintains a high support staff-to-doctor ratio, with team members trained to assist with surgery, anesthesia monitoring, IV and catheter placement, and blood transfusions.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
