General Laborer / Material Handler

Location:

Canton Area, OH

Pay:

Opportunity to earn $26-$27/hr+ through performance-based piece-rate pay. Additional

openings available in material handling positions paying $19.00-$24.00/hr.

Job Overview:

We are seeking hardworking individuals to join a growing manufacturing team in the Canton area. These

positions combine hands-on production, concrete/precast manufacturing, material

handling, shipping, and warehouse responsibilities. Candidates will assist with

building concrete conduit structures, moving materials throughout the facility,

packaging finished products, and safely operating equipment in a fast-paced

industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble concrete/precast conduit structures.
• Clean and prepare forms, install anchors, and reinforce units with rebar assemblies.
• Assist with concrete pouring and finishing processes.
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Package, band, and prepare products for shipment.
• Build shipping crates using hand and power tools.
• Perform basic rigging and load securement activities.
• Maintain inventory records and complete shipping documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, concrete, precast, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift experience required; overhead crane and rigging experience are a plus.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical labor for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills; Excel experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

This is a Permanent position based out of Canton, OH.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Piece rate pay opportunity after first week of training (rates depend on size of pieces and builds but typically will average to a $26-$27 rateFlexible schedule as long as employees are keeping up with what they need to do - if an employee completes their builds for the day they are free to leave if they wantEmployees are eligible for a full benefits package after 90 days (vision/medical/dental)Will have 401k offering in 2027

This is a fully onsite position in Canton,OH.
