Switchboard Assembly Operator - 2nd shift

Job Summary Mechanical Assemblers for Pomona, CA. 2nd shift: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am. 3 months of training on the 1st shift. Pay: $19.98 per hour. Responsibilities Assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.g., Switchboards, Lighting Panels) using mechanical tools and blueprints. Processing work orders using computers, scanning devices, etc., in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. Scanning in and out of work orders to track progress. Reading and interpreting documents associated with mechanical assembly assignments (blueprints, bill of materials, line diagrams, etc.). Fastening component parts on cubicles, frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies. Cleansing and maintaining equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. Basic Qualifications Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to stand to perform job duties. Capability to reach, grasp and lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull, and slide heavy material. Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. Minimum age 18. Thorough and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to learn all equipment operated in the facility and follow established processes. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience reading blueprints.
