Job Duties

  • Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create personalized treatment strategies that guide them in reaching their functional goals.

  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapeutic techniques that promote ongoing recovery at home.
  • Track Progress: Monitor patients' clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-grad certifications

Certifications Needed

  • Current OTR/L license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory

Skills Required
