Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulation.Essential Job Duties: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Input Pharmacy, Cycle, Dispensing, Pain Management, & E-Kit pharmacy technician duties as neededProvide dispensing assistance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistProcess daily workflow to provide timely and efficient medication deliveryAssist with inventory controlActively participate in quarterly physical inventory countEnsure compliance with all record keeping requirementsCommunicate information effectively to supervisor and others in a timely mannerMaintain proficiency with computer systemsEffectively demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and continually strive to improve quality standardsMaintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials in compliance with HIPAA regulationsAdhere to the principles of the Employee Standards and Code of Conduct and reports any violationsKnowledgeable and compliant with current company policies and procedures and state and federal regulationsAttend meetings and in-services as requiredOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge: Work requires knowledge of the pharmacy industry, Medicaid Regulations, CMS and other state/federal regulationsRequired Skills: Must possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Effectively demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and continually strives to improve quality standardsRequired Work Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of pharmacy technician experienceCertification Requirements: Active Mississippi Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required. Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred. Must complete continuing education in pharmacy-related topics as required to maintain certificationEducation Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
