Overview Big Data Architect | Location: San Antonio, TX 78208 | Clearance: TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement end-to-end big data solutions Develop and enforce data governance policies Collaborate with teams to define data strategies Optimize performance of data pipelines Ensure compliance with data security standards Research and adopt emerging big data technologies REQUIRED SKILLS Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka Expertise in data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache NiFi) Advanced programming in Python or Scala Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases Ability to design scalable cloud architectures Experience with version control systems DESIRED SKILLS Familiarity with real-time analytics tools Understanding of machine learning algorithms Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Knowledge of edge computing frameworks Expertise in multi-cloud data management Hands-on experience with BI integration EDUCATION DEGREE (Level Desired): Bachelor\'s Degree DEGREE (Focus): Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, etc. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor\'s Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor\'s Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master\'s Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
