Job Title: Customer Service Representative Pay: $18-$20/hour (.50/hr pay differential if Bilingual-English/Spanish) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM THIS WILL LAST THROUGH JANUARY 2027 Start Date: ASAP Looking for a rewarding, client-focused role in a fast-paced professional environment? Join a dedicated local team as a Customer Service Representative in Salem, OR, and play a vital role in supporting health insurance and Medicare enrollment operations! As a Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the welcoming first point of contact for clients. You'll gather intake details, prepare client files, coordinate appointment schedules, and ensure licensed insurance agents have everything needed to deliver seamless service. What You'll Do As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: Serving as the primary initial contact for clients seeking health insurance and Medicare assistance. Assisting clients with completing intake paperwork, reviewing forms for accuracy, and identifying missing documentation. Contacting clients before scheduled appointments to confirm details and track down outstanding items. Managing appointment calendars and organizing digital client files for licensed insurance agents. Entering and updating accurate client profiles within agency management systems. Tracking case progress, completing routine customer service requests, and routing complex insurance questions to licensed team members. Supporting high-volume enrollment workflows during Open Enrollment while adhering to strict privacy and compliance guidelines. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills across phone, email, and text. Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking capabilities in a high-volume setting. High comfort level working with computers, databases, and multi-screen administrative software. Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to handling confidential client information discreetly.
