Assists OHES providers by ensuring state and federal injury forms are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Works with BWC MCO/TPAs to obtain timely approved diagnoses or allowances. Responsible for patient referrals and tracking to achieve effective and prompt medical treatment planning. Coordinates with external case managers to insure timely management of the work injury case. May also be cross trained for coverage of other clinic responsibilities as necessary for the daily provision of services including but not limited to official specialist responsibilities and substance testing coverage upon training as appropriate.
