As a Armed Security Officer Full Time - Westheimer Rd. in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry out armed patrol duties throughout retail locations, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable reporting requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence to help deter theft, unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and daily reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
