Wood Personnel is partnering with a manufacturing facility in Hendersonville, TN, to find a dependable and motivated Recycling Coordinator. Recycling Coordinator Compensation and Hours: $17.50 an hour Monday – Friday 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Recycling Coordinator Skills and Qualifications

• MUST have 6+ months of tow motor experience within the last 3 years
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work independently and multitask with attention to detail
• Basic math skills for calculating pallet weights
• Good communication skills
• Ability to push/pull 50+ pounds
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Recycling Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a tow motor to safely transport skids, recycling materials, and trash bins to designated disposal areas and the trash chute
• Operate a cardboard baler to compact cardboard and prepare materials for recycling
• Calculate and record gross and net pallet weights after baling to ensure accurate weight distribution
• Monitor recycling and waste disposal areas to ensure materials are handled and disposed of properly
• Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and proactively identify tasks that need to be completed without requiring constant direction
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the warehouse
• Assist with general custodial duties as needed to cover employee absences
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling recyclable materials
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for every scheduled shift
• Communicate any equipment issues, safety concerns, or discrepancies in pallet weights to the appropriate personnel
