Cash Application and Accounts Payable Specialist

This dynamic role involves balancing responsibilities between Cash Application and Accounts Payable functions. Initially, the focus will be on Accounts Payable to address backlog issues, with a subsequent transition to Cash Application duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor files, including contact information, payment terms, and tax documentation.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Receive, review, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of B2B Collections experience.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable, credit analysis, and collections.
• Experience with reconciliation and customer service.
• Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively within a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in the industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle and basic Excel functions like reading reports.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding the 'why' behind tasks.

Work Environment:

Work is primarily conducted in-office at the newly established location, with a possibility of working one day from home after training. The work schedule is flexible, requiring eight hours per day with early shift options available. The role primarily utilizes Oracle and may involve potential system changes in the future. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.84/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
