Embedded Systems Engineer

Salary: $125,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience developing embedded software in embedded C
• 3+ years of experience building software for 8051 and ARM microcontrollers
• Strong background in RTOS-based, multithreaded development
• Experience creating thread-safe drivers and tasks using VS Code
• Working knowledge of low-level firmware development, including timers, interrupts, watchdogs, and hardware peripherals and buses such as SPI, I2C, and UART
• RF experience, including sub-GHz transceivers, antenna or RF PCB design, or radio protocol development
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

• Write efficient, modular code for ARM-based systems
• Develop firmware for GPS/GNSS tracking devices and RF telemetry systems
• Design and validate hardware-related solutions on tightly integrated platforms
• Integrate and tune RF transceivers and antenna systems for low-power, long-range communication links
• Leverage AI tools across the firmware lifecycle, including code generation, automated testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with electrical and hardware engineers, app developers, and end users to deliver refined products on a rapid development schedule
• Architect, develop, verify, and test mission-critical firmware as part of a close-knit engineering team
