Position Summary

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of an assigned security guard team to ensure the safety and security of post location and perimeter. From exhibiting professionalism and tact when responding to escalated situations to providing mentorship and guidance in support of the security team, the Security Supervisor works in conjunction with Operations teams to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols.

• Payrate: $21.70
• Location: Staten Island NY (various shifts available throughout Staten Island NY)
• Schedules : 8AM - 4PM | 4PM - 12AM | 12AM - 8AM
• Shifts:  Full Time & Part Time Available
• Certification Required: F80

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises security guard team to ensure adherence to company procedures, protocol and best practices are being adhered to
• Performs regular spot-checks to posts to ensure that security guards on post assignment are performing the required tasks and functions, providing assistance when needed
• Oversees the company scheduling platform to confirm "clock-ins/clock-outs" are being completed for each scheduled shift per company protocol
• Responds to escalated situation alerts from security guard team with professionalism and expediency according to company protocol
• Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Adheres to all Company service and operating standards
• Additional tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• 2 Years of security guard experience and 1 year of Supervisory experience
• Completion of 16 HR OJT Class required by NYS Licensing Division
• Valid CPR-AED certification a PLUS
• F80 Certification Mandatory
