Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert automotive care while maintaining high standards of efficiency. Duties include:

• Performing repairs in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conducting thorough diagnostic testing on vehicle components and systems using specialized service equipment.
• Diagnosing and maintaining complex automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC.
• Collaborating with service advisors to ensure customers are fully informed regarding repair requirements and time estimates.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: a minimum of 2 years of experience as a service technician is preferred.
• Certification: high school diploma or equivalent, and ASE certification is required.
• Technical proficiency: B-level qualifications, including proven expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Skill set: strong mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities, combined with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Professionalism: excellent communication and customer service skills, paired with a positive, collaborative mindset.
• Operational standards: the ability to learn new technologies and service procedures, possess manual dexterity, and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record.
