Quick Facts Location: 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, TX 75088 Start Date: 07/23/2026 End Date/Duration: Contract ongoing / per assignment Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Hours/Week: Approx. 40+ hours Employment Type: Locum / Per Diem Licensure/Certs: TX Medical License, DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS, & appropriate board certifications Experience: 2+ years in OB/GYN hospitalist or inpatient OB care preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50/hour Pay Package Includes: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), licensure, certification, travel and lodging reimbursements when applicable, and paid sick time in accordance with state and federal laws. What You’ll Do Provide obstetric inpatient care, including triage, admissions, and deliveries Attend and assist with cesarean sections and manage labor and delivery emergencies Conduct fetal monitoring and respond promptly to labor and OB emergencies Cover OB floor and ER consults for gynecological emergencies Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and anesthesiology teams in a Level III NICU environment Assist with private call coverage and unassigned patient care Support hospital efforts to deliver high-quality maternal health services and safety protocols What You Need Required: Valid Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum 2 years’ inpatient hospitalist experience in OB/GYN Current DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Preferred: Experience working in Level III NICU environments Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Rowlett, TX, dedicated to excellence in women’s health.
