Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct mental health evaluations and provide crisis interventions to assess the immediate needs of patients effectively. \n
- Coordinate and determine appropriate levels of mental health care for patients, ensuring they receive the right support at the right time. \n
- Document findings and treatments by completing required statistical reports, maintaining accuracy and compliance with regulations. \n
- Work alongside the Department of Correction to guarantee that our patients have access to appropriate housing and treatment plans. \n
- Lead group treatment sessions on mental health observation units, facilitating discussions and strategies for improvement among participants. \n
- Engage thoroughly in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor on a weekly basis to reflect on practices and enhance therapeutic techniques. \n
- Participate actively in mental health and medical rounds, providing insights and recommendations based on patient assessments. \n
- Convene case conferences for treatment planning, evaluating strategies for both current and prospective mental health clients. \n
- Occasionally supervise social work interns or student volunteers, enhancing their learning experience within the field. \n
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Unit Chief or Clinical Supervisor to support the clinic’s operations. \n
You will work closely with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Your role is crucial in fostering a healing environment where each individual feels safe and understood. Building therapeutic relationships is at the heart of your mission, enabling effective interventions and patient advocacy.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required. \n
- A valid State license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) must be obtainable and maintained. \n

- Experience in a community health or similar mental health setting is highly valued. \n
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and acute mental health assessments. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and documentation for remote patient care. \n
- Experience in group therapy facilitation and clinical supervision of interns is desirable. \n
