Warehouse Laborer

SUMMARY: Responsible for performing and maintaining housekeeping of the warehouse, docks and freezers. Assist in handling frozen Package food items. Responsible for food safety and quality of handling of products. Other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES: Performing physical housekeeping of warehouse, freezers and docks to maintain free of debris. Assist with performing physical inventory counts as needed. Assist with physical inventory when needed of pallets by visually counting, lifting or climbing to identify vendor/product number for accounting purposes. Collect and discard product waste. Perform warehouse dock housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of docks. Other duties as assigned by area Supervisor or Team Leader. Cooperation to perform duties as needed. Cooperation and compliance with all company processes, procedures, and policies. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to use all extremities. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to -10 degrees. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs. +/- (varies) Must be able to reach above the shoulders. Must be able to bend and kneel repeatedly. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to see correctly and identify colors. Must be able to hear. WORK ENVIRONMENT Cold and damp warehouse. Exposed to noise.
