CT TechnologistJob Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, (CT) Preferred Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required - Must be able to perform CT and X-ray - Must understand methods and be capable of performing venipuncture as required - Must demonstrate the ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a shifting environment - Must be self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects and assignments - Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills Description: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization. Client badge will be provided. Driver's license is required. Artificial nails are prohibited in departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to termination of contract. The department has 8 treatment areas. Candidates may be required to float/cover other areas. The facility performs a variety of imaging/studies from pediatrics to geriatrics. Common types of imaging/studies include CTAs, hearts, and perfusion. EMR used is EPIC and PACS is McKesson. Shifts may vary starting at different times, including 7-7 and 3p-11p. Weekend and holiday requirements depend on department needs. RTO must be provided upfront and additional RTO will not be approved after submissions. The facility is fast-paced and busy with high-acuity patients. Successful candidates should be willing to jump in and stay busy, and be able to think outside the box for problem-solving.
