Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Housekeeping and Laundry Leadership Team as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Laundry Manager at the Grand Hyatt Seattle! Responsibilities The Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Laundry Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. This role requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies, parser requirements, and ensuring all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, VIP guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. Responsibilities may also include staff training, development, and scheduling. The manager will promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction and reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and Laundry Manager. Salary The salary range for this position is $80,169.00 to $86,600. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education. Service oriented style with professional presentation skills. Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset. High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
