Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Allen, Texas
Duration: 8 Weeks
Positions: 1
Shift: Nights – 12 Hours (6:30 PM Start)
Employment Type: Travel Contract

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join a dynamic healthcare team in Allen, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in labor and delivery, with the flexibility to support mother-baby care when needed.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist in childbirth procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Float to Mother-Baby unit to provide newborn care when L&D census is low.

• Night Shift: 12-hour shifts starting at 6:30 PM (1830)
• Weekends and holidays required as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Flexibility to float between units as required

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience in Mother-Baby / Postpartum care
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP (as applicable)

• Unit: Labor and Delivery
• Floating: Yes – to Mother-Baby unit based on census
