Instituto Familiar de la Raza, Inc. is a multi-service community health and social service agency with an emphasis on serving the Chicano/Latino/Indígena community in San Francisco with a special focus on the diverse needs of the Mission District. Services include a wide range of mental health, HIV-related services, and social services, including health promotion, education, prevention, early intervention, case management, and psychological and psychiatric interventions, as well as cultural/social and spiritual re-enforcement. The agency serves children, youth, adults, and families. It has a rich history of working collaboratively with other agencies to meet the needs of the Chicano/Latino/Indígena community and other cultural/racial communities in San Francisco. Job/Program Description Our La Cultura Cura(LCC) program is seeking an enthusiastic administrative professional who is passionate about working with Latino/Chicano/Indígena youth of San Francisco. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and has an understanding of the services in San Francisco serving youth and families. Is comfortable working with a diverse group and is adaptable to the changing needs of the program. Has an understanding of best practices in clinical services for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) and/or experience providing clinical services. La Cultura Cura offers a range of services and opportunities to youth and their families, with a particular emphasis on youth who have had contact with/or are at high risk of entering the juvenile justice system. Youth and families are provided with both case management and mental health services and have access to culturally rooted, structured groups, enrichment and arts-focused activities. Essential Job Duties are but are not limited to the following Program Management: In collaboration with the Director of Programs and Client Services, provides leadership in developing and implementing an overall vision and program design for La Cultura Cura program Coordinates and manages the day-to-day functions of the program, including completion of contract objectives, contract management, invoicing, program planning, development and oversight, data management, and program implementation Provides Staff supervision and program coordination efforts to ensure programming expectations are met and quality of care standards are upheld. Supports the development of program activities and interventions Reviews and updates LCC Policies and Procedures Manual annually Establishes strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including but not limited to community residents, government agencies, service providers, and business partners, to coordinate and leverage service delivery, community building, and policy advocacy efforts Facilitates staff meetings 3x a month, coordinates care conferences as needed and Senior Team Meetings 2x a month Oversees the management of office space at 5128 Mission Street Assists with service delivery (i.e., may provide direct services as needed or applicable) Fiscal Oversight: Serves as liaison with contractor managers from the various funding sources Manages program budgets and contracts, as well as budget modifications and spenddown Assist with grant writing and fund development activities Approves all necessary invoices and check requests, client incentives, including the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment for the program. Oversees fiscal compliance for LCC funding and the annual budget development and modification process Staff Development: In coordination with HR, oversees the recruitment, selection, and onboarding orientation of La Cultura Cura staff Oversight of staff performance improvement work plans and productivity in collaboration with Human Resources. Facilitate staff development and ongoing training of the team in alignment with IFR values and frameworks Program Supervision, coordination and training of team interns and volunteers and coordinate Clinical Supervision for staff and interns in collaboration with the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Participate in the planning and implementation of IFR cultural activities Participates in agency management & leadership meetings as required by all program directors/managers Inform and find resources to offer training and resources necessary for direct service staff to successfully complete their work responsibilities Contract Compliance and Reporting: Responsible for ensuring that La Cultura Cura is in contract compliance and consistently meeting its stated goals and objectives Prepares monthly, bi-annual, and/or annual reports, progress reports and other reporting requirements, including DPH Reflection Responses Responses to DPH audit request for ICC/IHBS and SAR’s processes. Participated and leads contract negotiations with multiple funders Develops MOUs with partners in coordination with the agency's Contract Management Compliance Unit Attends and represents LCC/IFR at meetings with strategic policy, program and funding partners
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Demonstrated commitment and competence in working with Latino Youth and Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) and families, and extensive knowledge of youth development and violence prevention principles and frameworks such as; harm reduction, trauma informed, and healing-centered frameworks Knowledge and sensitivity to issues of diversity in the Chicano/Latino/Indigena community, including gender, race, language, sexual orientation and socio-economic status Strong knowledge of mental health systems, juvenile and adult criminal justice systems, as well as economic, social, and health-related trends impacting Latinos in San Francisco, regionally and nationally Experience working with a multidisciplinary team (Case Managers, Group Facilitators, Mental Health Specialists) Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing teams or supervising individuals and program team staff. Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong organizational and writing skills Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite preferred Ability to keep sensitive information confidential Personable attitude and affinity for working closely as part of a team Ability to take the initiative and provide reliable management support Ability to empathize with the demanding and challenging circumstances of the target population Experience with collaborative workPREFERRED SKILLS:

Must pass and maintain annual tuberculosis test Must pass Department of Justice Fingerprint screening Salary: This is a full-time exempt position that is benefits eligible, with the following salary ranges: Salary Range Program Director I: $92,000 - $98,000 Salary Range Program Director II: $98,000 - $106,000 Commensurate with work experience, qualifications, and education All full-time positions are based on a minimum of thirty-five (35) hours per week. This is a full-time exempt position at 35 hours a week. The position is eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, and 403(b) plans, earn vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, two wellness days (birthday and hire date) and receive ongoing opportunities for learning.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
