Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead SAP Finance (R2R) Consultant with over 10 years of SAP Finance expertise to lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream for a large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The ideal candidate will drive finance transformation initiatives, global template standardization, and end-to-end SAP Finance solution architecture while ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Transformation
• Lead the R2R workstream in SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives including Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition projects.
• Drive global finance transformation strategy and process harmonization.
• Define and govern global finance templates across regions.
• Partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to align transformation objectives with SAP capabilities.
• Solution Architecture & Design
• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance solution design for:
• General Ledger (GL) with Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders and Product Costing
• Design chart of accounts harmonization, parallel accounting, and group reporting structures.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprint workshops, and solution design sessions.
• Ensure adoption of SAP S/4HANA best practices and simplification items.
• Global Template & Rollouts
• Define and manage global finance templates for multi-country deployments.
• Support localization requirements related to tax, statutory, and compliance regulations.
• Lead cutover planning, financial data migration, and go-live activities.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare and stabilization support.
• Data Migration & Integration
• Define finance data migration strategy including GL balances, open items, assets, and CO data.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Design and manage integrations with:
• MM (Procure-to-Pay)
• SD (Order-to-Cash)
• EWM, TM, and external systems
• Coordinate interfaces, middleware, and financial reporting integrations.
• Financial Close & Reporting
• Optimize month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Support group reporting and financial consolidation requirements.
• Enable embedded analytics, Fiori applications, and real-time reporting capabilities.
• Testing & Governance
• Define and oversee SIT, UAT, and regression testing strategies.
• Ensure audit compliance, financial accuracy, and control effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to finance processes and compliance.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead and mentor onsite/offshore SAP Finance teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFO organizations and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate executive steering committee discussions and workshops.
• Coordinate with system integrators, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Drive automation initiatives using workflows and RPA.
• Promote advanced analytics and real-time dashboards.
• Identify opportunities for finance process simplification and optimization.
• Align finance transformation initiatives with the SAP S/4HANA roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• 10+ years of SAP Finance (FICO) experience with strong expertise in R2R processes.
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs.
• Strong experience in global template design and multi-country rollouts.
• Expertise in financial close, reporting, and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
• CA / CPA / CMA certifications preferred.
