The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for staff development including orientation, in‑services, continuing and mandated education for all levels of staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting clinical rounds, identifying the individual and collective learning needs of staff, developing course curriculum and teaching classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting‑edge technology (e.g., online learning modules and simulation). This role promotes best clinical practices and inspires award‑winning nurses. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides leadership in the development, implementation, and review of Nursing Standards. This is a full‑time day position in the Postpartum Units at NewYork-Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Preferred Criteria Nursing Education experience, including simulation experience Women’s Health Nursing experience Basic Life Support Instructor Certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor National certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or clinical specialty Required Criteria Minimum of 4 years related experience Current NYS RN licensure Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education BCLS certification through the AHA Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all‑time high.
