Position Summary We are looking for a Regional Aerospace Principal for the Aerospace market to join our Florida practice. The role involves fostering client relationships, supporting annual planning, leading pursuits, and overseeing project teams across a variety of aerospace projects in the Southeast region. Leading teams in marketing and securing project wins is a significant focus of the position. Primary Responsibilities Develop and nurture strong client relationships from pre‑positioning through project execution and beyond. Maintain an active presence in the aerospace market sector, driving growth and sales. Participate in industry associations and serve as a company role‑model in business and community organizations. Identify new opportunities and lead strategy for client and pursuit capture planning. Champion pursuits and proposal responses, collaborating with business and discipline managers to assemble teams and support technical write‑ups. Collaborate with the leadership team in strategic planning and advancement of key market sector initiatives within the region. Project Responsibilities Serve as Project Manager/Director as appropriate. Lead concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teams, planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects. Support the preparation, negotiation, and award of project contracts. Provide client oversight throughout project execution, ensuring technical, quality, financial, and schedule performance meet expectations. Maintain client relations after project completion. Partner with production managers to strengthen core project teams. Preferred Qualifications Proven business development, relationship building, and operational results in the aerospace market sector. Existing network of clients. Experience leading and mentoring project management staff. Proven sales success. Willingness to travel (25%). Involvement in industry associations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing diverse teams. Commitment to quality improvement and HDR values. PMP certification. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 15 years of related experience. Minimum of 7 years project management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
