RN - Experienced Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Overview Staff RN in the Free Standing Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Reynoldsburg. Schedule: three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. ED experience required. Responsibilities Provide nursing care within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act; collaborate in a teamwork-focused environment and deliver patient care using the Nursing Process within organizational standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assess and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients; develop and implement a plan of care with the patient and family, including physical, spiritual, and educational components. Communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner; keep patient and family apprised. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and completely in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and for documentation by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate from school of nursing. Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience is required. All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
